Hosea 1-3
H - "Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek Yahweh their God and David their king, and they shall come in fear to Yahweh and to his goodness in the latter days." - Hosea 3:5
E - Yahweh, through the prophet Hosea, likens Israel to an adulteress because she has chosen to worship Baal instead of him. For a long time, Israel will be disciplined. But in the latter days, Israel will return to Yahweh and to his goodness. Israel will again be the people of Yahweh (Romans 11:26-29).
A - This truth supports what we are learning in Winter Bible School. In the future, the holy remnant of ethnic Israel will return to Yahweh, recognising Yeshua as her Messianic king. This will be a time of great fruitfulness for Israel. She will finally fulfil her place as head of the nations. This will happen at Jesus' second coming during the 1000-year Millennial period.
R - Father, I praise you so much for your faithfulness to Israel. Thank you that your covenant promises to her have not been set aside or subsumed by the Church. Thank you for your holy character and that you always fulfil promises you make. As we approach the end times, Father, shelter all the believers from every nation who call upon your name in sincerity and truth. Amen.
