2 Samuel 5, Psalm 23
H - "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows." - Psalm 23:5
E - The house of David is at war with the house of Saul for a long time. During that time God continually provides for David. David is God's anointed king. Wherever David goes, God gives him success, because David's heart is for God. David's cup overflows with blessing.
P - Father, you have blessed me like you have blessed David. Despite my sins, you have been and are my Shepherd. You have chosen me to be a leader, and you are blessing the work of my hands. You give success wherever I go because of your overflowing grace. I just want to thank you for being my Shepherd. You provide for me in every emergency and in every challenge. You cause me to be bold in the faith, like Paul. Please continue to fill my cup to overflowing. Bless me beyond what I deserve. Give great blessing to the camp we are running this weekend. Amen.
